a place of healing and hope for more than 200 patients!
Your donation provides comprehensive and compassionate health care to sick, homeless persons in the District of Columbia, and assists them in addressing critical issues to help break the cycle of homelessness.
In 2019, Christ House cared for 229 patients and provided 9,228 patient-days of care. Almost all of our patients had multiple chronic health issues such as high blood
pressure, heart disease, diabetes, breathing problems and cancer. Last year 67% of our patients were discharged to more stable housing than before coming to Christ House.
Every patient comes with an initial acute medical issue that brings them to us for care. In their healing journey, we look at their total health. Thank you for caring.
